On the Monday before Halloween we were invited for a FHE pumpkin carving party at our friends the Bradshaws.
Kael LOVES carving pumpkins and this year he insisted on drawing his own spider.
Here he is proud as can be of his spider pumpkin.
Kiera wasn’t so much into the carving, but she had fun causing trouble and reeking havoc at their house.
On the Thursday before Halloween Kael had FOUR parties to go to. First he got to dress up for Pre-School, they paraded through the High School and got to trick-or-treat at the classrooms and offices.
Kiera was a little sad that she didn’t get to have her princess dress on when Kael put on Spiderman. But she didn’t have to wait long because right after Pre-school they both got to dress up for their Playgroup Halloween party. Here is Kiera getting ready, so pretty, she even got a little blue eye shadow and sparkleys in her hair.
After the play group we raced over to Mommy’s dr. appt both wearing their costumes (they LOVED the attention) and then up to Daddy’s work for MORE tick-or-treating! Every year Microsoft lets families come and trick or treat at all the offices in the buildings. The kids have a blast; mostly because they get to see Daddy at work but also because they get to pick out their own candy from all the buckets that line the halls. Here is Spiderman climbing the walls at Daddy’s work:
A shot of Daddy and his little Spidey, Kiera didn’t want her picture taken at that point.
Finally, we raced back home to make it to the ward Trunk-or-Treat. If the kids didn’t have enough candy already they sure did after that. What a fun day and it wasn’t even Halloween yet!
Halloween night FINALLY arrived and despite wearing his costume ALL day on thursday, Kael was soooo excited to be Spidey again (in fact he is still asking me if he can put it on).
We stopped by Grandma and Grandpa Workman’s house to trick or treat and show off the costumes.
After that we met at our friends the Frederick’s house for some pizza and, best of all, MORE TRICK-OR-TREATING!!
Oh my gosh, love little Spidey Man! And Miss Princess of course!!! They are so dang cute all dressed up. What a busy day for you guys, bet everyone just passed out that night. I love Halloween, especially w/ children!
