(Yes this is a MONTH after the fact. Someone forgot to bestow upon me the supermom genes so many other moms seemed to have).
Sweet little one year old boy. So smiley. Of course the theme for his birthday was blue and brown owls, so cute!
Kael and Kiera loved helping him blow out his candle, Liam just wanted to touch it.

| Who doesn't love the cake face pictures? Liam was a fabulous cake-smasher, better by far than Kael or Kiera. |
| All his fun prizes! The big one was his new car seat, don't you love it when you can get them practical things and they don't even care? |
| Opening his gifts, thank you to everyone who sent him something! | |

| The next Saturday Grandma and Grandpa Workman and Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Trisha and Cousins Ava and Mya come over to celebrate with Liam. We played a few fun games, the first was Liam's Favorite Things. We set out three of Liam's favorite things { graham cracker, remote, and binky} then we all bet on which item he would crawl to first. It was close but he chose the cracker first and then went straight to the remote. He couldn't believe his luck that we left a graham cracker AND the remote on the floor. Binkies are always on the floor so apparently it was no big surprise to see it there. |
| Then it was time for the adults to have some fun. We picked out a few games from Minute to Win it. The first game was called "Defying Gravity" The player had to keep 3 balloons in the air for 60 seconds. I don't think any of us succeeded. |
| The next game was a candy sorting game. The player had to sort the candies in order one at a time. It was a lot harder than it looks. |
| The last game we played was dubbed "Block Head" by Brian. The player had to stack five block on top of a plate on top of their head and hold it for 3 seconds, again much harder than it looked. Brian's mom did pretty good! |
| I made a silly owl cake for his Saturday party. Well, at the least the kids got a kick out of it. |
| Liam decided he didn't want to take any chances with cake thieves that might be around. He held the cake with one hand while using his other hand to eat pieces of it with. |
| Finally, more presents! He received some clothes, books, toys, shoes, and Gma Workman made him his quiet book for church, so cute! |
